Vegas Blunders and Michelle wonders

So we started out in vegas myself and Judy with a nice win, I with $60 from black Jack and Judy herself having some winnings, as usual Michelle was losing hand after hand, as Judy and I laugh and bask in our winnings and we say to ourselves "oh michelle you always lose, such bad luck, oh Vegas loves us!" Than michael hits a little $9 jackpot at the slots, it was money everywhere, we were rolling in it as we continued to yell and laugh. So as we walk away from our winnings to cash in, there was michelle welling up, sad, beaten, and warn down by the greed and nature of vegas. We made her feel bad about losing a game of chance and rubbed our winnings in her face. We tried to console her and all apologized, some even gave her money. Two days later judy and I $200 dollars down and michelle $600 up--kharma who is laughing now....not me.

Onto other news at BLondies bar and grill it was their usual thursday night beer pong, michael with clutch shots after shot, "it was amazing" an onlooker Michelle described. 6 hours later, 50 people, and after 16 beer, michael was at the final 2 only to lose to the owner of the bar---cheap ass.

Last but not least I may have been with one man in my life, I have smelled two.

A little update

So I know that sept has been a slow month for blogging...I will be better in OCT.

So here is a little update on life.

Michael started a new job and had the whole last week off. He called me last week while I was at work concerned that he had gotten a virus on our computer. I ask him if he was "trying anything new" on the computer and he claims he was on legit sites...no one believes him, but he firmly holds to his story. Anyways we had to reformat the computer because of it.

Last Sunday after our football game, we hung with some team members at our sponsored bar. I will admit I had a little too much to drink and probably should not have rode home on my bike. On the way home I had abruptly stopped at a light and basically toppled over and fell on my face. I chipped a tooth, which I had to get dental work for and also bruised my inner legs badly, and I also skinned the top of my nose...moral of story do not drink and bike.

My sister had her second baby last monday---Congrats for on the new baby Jed!

Carrie and Jeff had their non traditional baby shower on last sat. It was kinda anticlimactic for me because I had gotten the same gift her mom got her.

New JOB!!

So I work for Sedgwick case management and recently I hooked michael up with a new job.....at Sedgwick case management. Now we can be lunch and bike buddies!!Wait is that bad.....?!?!

A gang was born: Eric & Michael

Here is my rendition of the "fight" or what I call "The beginnings of the new gang in town: Eric & Michael. Their primary goal is to make sure the advisories are small and easily intimidated and the art to their gang is to never actually fight, but intimidation.

There are really actually six main characters to this event: Doris (diffuser), Michael (intimidator), Eric(comrade), May's admirer(DB), myself, and megan (our posse).


So I was singing the best song of the night "Eternal flame" and found that had an admirer who not only like the song, but also like to sing it with his arm around me, little did he know I was the wife of a ganglord. Michael comes over and takes my shoulders, to secure his property and dominance. It is no big deal to me, who does not like a little affection.

Than came a great song " Stand by me" I could not resist but took the mic although it was not my song, but actually my admirer's song, but with a little prompting for my dear sister Doris. I sang only to find myself in a middle of "two step lesson" with my admirer who asked me if I knew how. Than, in cuts in my husband who did not cut to dance with me, but with my admirer, some would say it was for a laugh, i think otherwise.....he always wants to compete with me...nonetheless this admirer did not take it so well, and began to tell his posse that my husband was a tool.

Than it all went down, I played the scared wife "please lets just go." Doris, "if you gonna fight you gotta back that thing up" Michael " Come on" .....On the other side of the room, Megan "Eric michael is getting into fight." Than came Eric "what is going on." And there it was the beginning of the gang...Eric rushed to michael's assistance, it was intimidation at its best, two married men picking on an Asian guy trying to teach a women the two step....priceless.

Some may not know but the picture posted of them was taken shortly after the incident --secret--the folding of the arms they both do--it is actually their gang sign.

Be afraid...be very afraid.

Wedding Crashers

My new favorite thing to do is to crash weddings in which Roberto (my DJ) plays at. The following are pictures from the wedding I and michael recently crashed. Michael sat next to this older lady that was drunk....so drunk to spilled the family drama and spilled the wine all over our table. Besides that we danced our butts off, so hard we had to sleep over and crash in Judy's hotel room.

Oh yeah the bridal party attempted a dance off in the beginning of the introduction during the reception, which some totally bombed because not everyone was committed. SO don't worry my bridal party we still rock, always commit to a dance off.

Summertime

Summertime is awesome!!We recently have been a on winning streak with our v-ball team and have had several BBQ . Plenty of beer pong and baggo fun.

I want to say Congrats to Jeff and Carrie soon to be having a boy, it is only fitting as all the family children thus far are boys! We can have our own football team! Awesome!

Thank you Doris for the nice, delicious, expensive, and quality dinner and family time last Sunday.

Thank you Jerry for the cubs tickets--awesome game, sad loss, good crowd for booing Bonds.

To Robert we miss you and can't wait for you to come back to work at Lily's.

It is all about the Triglycerides

so recently michael and I have applied to new york life insurance. my number is 1 and michael's number is 5. You are probably asking yourselves what do these numbers mean. These are our health index, 1-19 and 1 being the best. So depending on what your health exam and health index is, determines how much you pay. I pay $16 and michael pays $55.

Here is how the conversation went with our financial adviser:

Adviser: Michael they found something in your blood.

Me: What is it?

Adviser: Elevated Triglycerides which may lead to coronary heart disease, diabetes and hypertension.

Michael: What??!?!?I will show them next year when I take the exam again.

So basically unless michael gets his act together we will have to pay an extra $400 for his life insurance because he is a five.

So we searched what it means to have high Triglycerides and the things one can do to help it, it is as follows:

• If you're overweight, cut down on calories to reach your ideal body weight. This includes all sources of calories, from fats, proteins, carbohydrates and alcohol.
• Reduce the saturated fat, trans fat and cholesterol content of your diet. (michael loves eggs)
  
• Reduce your intake of alcohol considerably. Even small amounts of alcohol can lead to large changes in plasma triglyceride levels. (Michael loves miller lite)
  
• Be physically active for at least 30 minutes on most or all days each week. (Does not work out at all)
  
• People with high triglycerides may need to substitute monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats —such as those found in canola oil, olive oil or liquid margarine — for saturated fats. Substituting carbohydrates for fats may raise triglyceride levels and may decrease HDL ("good") cholesterol in some people.
• Substitute fish high in omega-3 fatty acids instead of meats high in saturated fat like hamburger. Fatty fish like mackerel, lake trout, herring, sardines, albacore tuna and salmon are high in omega-3 fatty acids. (Michael loves burgers)
  

I conclude: Michael is the perfect text book person that would have high Triglycerides.

The daily grind

So as you all know we went to MI a couple of weeks ago. Just last week we returned and michael was like where is the DS. i was like its probably in my green bag. I checked my green bag...nothing. Than i looked in my red back pack. nothing. I looked in michael's backpack...nothing. I started to look around the house...nothing. Michael was like "I asked you if you packed it and you said you did." I said, "I dont remember you asking me that, I remember telling you I packed the charger." Michael, "Good one may you lost like $250, the trip was like $600." I came to accept that i lost the DS and i even told my parents about how i basically lose everything....until michael was cleaning out HIS bag the other day ....and come to find it, it was in his backpack the WHOLE time.

Today michael was like lets make tacos for dinner, i was like "sure i need to go to dominicks anyways." Michael was like okay also get some salsa. I said okay. Than I rode my bike there and rode back with about 30lbs of food in my backpack and on my handle bars. And than i get home i get right to making the dinner. Michael finishes his dump than shower and arrives to a warm meal waiting. He was nice enough to start cleaning, but also started to complain. "you can wipe up by the stove when you cook...ugh you make such as mess when you cook." i said i would clean because his complaining was getting to me and that i usually wipe up right after i cook, however, i was tired from my bike ride. He insists and finishes the dishes and we were originally watching the plasma together, after dishes he goes into the bedroom to watch tv, without saying a word to me. my daily grind....

This is a must read next to Kite Runner. I love the way Khaled Hosseini writes and weaves his stories and he is able to capture the essence of an individuals character and heartache. I need to learn from him to write my story. Love it!

Second love it for the week is Malcom in the middle. It just cracks me up. They do the most neurotic things. hilarious!

First hate it---Ghost rider the movie and second hate it the man who wears the sun glasses from the ghost rider the movie.
