doing new things

So we have been pretty busy lately...basically doing a lot of television watching and staring our house because we admire it so much. Michael and I have recently joined a summer v-ball league and plan on attending a new church. We will be starting our hunt for churches this Sunday...very exciting. Michael still commutes from his Lemont job and I currently bike to and from work which is about 12 minutes and sometimes I have to walk which is 45 mins.
Yesterday I went to the CUBS VS. Cardinal game, which by the way was an awesome game, but the cubs ended up losing in the end after overtime-SUCKS!
I recently watched Blades of Glory...the moves and performance-fantastic...one would say beautiful.

Now that michael and I have our own place...I have discovered some things about michael. I clean everything to the best of my ability, he comes home and does the same thing claiming I did not actually do it and apparently to him very clean is not good enough, in fact that is considered crappy, so crappy he has to do it over. I cannot leave any lights on...even when I am reading. I am not allowed to turn on the air unless people are actually dying of heat. If I cook, I apparently also have to clean because I used too many pots, and due to that fact my punishment is to do my own dishes after. SUCKS! Okay i exaggerated a little...but basically thats my new life. I live in darkness and am constantly sweating.

that is too funny! that's exactly what Dan does to me! He dosen't think I do a good job cleaning so he goes behind my back and re-do everything. I just tell him if he is going to do that why should i even bother. on the contrary to michael, Dan likes to have every single light on in the house...anyways..new digs looks great!

anyway, congrats on your new place again and a 12 minute commute! Man that rocks...good luck church hunting.

Sweating in the dark. Sounds like a bad movie...or life with Michael. I am now going to make it public that while growing up Michael would make us all "save our pee" so we would only have to flush the toilet once. Needless to say he was the only one to follow that rule. But don't worry May, he only starts doing that to people after a good 10 years, so I think you only have 2 or 3 more years to go! Oh, the things to look forward to with Michael.

he doesn't ask me to save it yet, but when i go he tells me to not flush as he would use the opportunity to maximize the water by going after, he gets really mad when i accidentally flush.

wow...wow. That is hilarious. Michael...hehe. I guess you have much more to learn. Have fun!

wow.

wow. LOL. i knew michael was frugal, but reading in the dark & multiple uses of the toilet before flushing is unheard of & a bit extreme. never knew.

michael is lucky to have you, may. only you could love him for who he is.

lovely update.

i need a bike! that's great that you can bike or hike to work. how good for you~

take care, you two!
see you~

do you guys have to pay for water at your place? i wonder how much not flushing would actually save.

May...I can't believe you give in to the "save the pee." Just tell Michael that it will end up costing more to install a new toilet due to staining then it is to just flush...I mean it's not like you guys pee that much! YOu know it's bad when you are pregnant and he says, "we don't need to go to the hospital...you can totally tough it out" (quoted directly from Lily Lee) that's when you know you are in trouble!

Correction: oh michael wanted me to make it for the record that the "saving of pee" is only at lily lee's home because water costs $$, while here at our house it is included...so he actually tries to take three showers a day and do as much laundry as he can...
